About Summa Drag Knife technology:

The S One's Powerful Drag Knife Cutting Head (or swivel) technique is the most common on the market. The most important benefit is its simplicity and reliability.

The S One's versatile cutting head allows for quick switches between standard blades, thick material blades, plotting pens or pouncing tools to create perforated templates. With up to 600 grams of cutting force, the affordable S One cutter outperforms many manufacturers' high-end cutters. And, the 600 grams isn’t just a peak value, the S One cutting head is built and tested to sustain these high pressures.

For projects that require thicker materials, use the S One with the optional sandblast knife for smooth cutting on materials up to 0.8 mm thick.

Advanced Summa internal programming delivers unmatched quality and versatility. Summa’s exclusive OptiCut feature eliminates flaws due to knife wear. The FlexCut feature enables cutting through paper, cardboard and even vinyl.

About S One Internal Intelligence

The S One line of roll-fed cutters relies on Internal intelligence to automate certain tasks and reduce operator actions and human error. All relevant speed settings are standard linked to the main velocity parameter minimizing changes when jobs or materials change.

When contour cutting using the OPOS barcode reader, many features are automatically activated – again, for ease of use and reduction of potential operator errors.

State-of-the-art Drive System

The S One servo motor drive system is outstanding when it comes to quality and speed. Once TurboCut is enabled, the cutter can compete with most premium roll-fed cutter competitors. The state-of-the-art drive system ensures the machine can still cut at high speeds, even in the most challenging curved paths.
