We recently installed a new cutting strip on our D75 Summa cutter. The installation process is not difficult, but as a suggestion to others, the peel and removal of the old strip can be done very easily with the aid of a hair dryer. The heat softens the adhesive on the back of the strip allowing for easy peel and removal with virtually no adhesive residue. Any minimal residue can be removed with straight isopropyl alcohol. I would suggest this is preferable to the adhesive mess that can be created using harsh solvents or commercial adhesive removers. This tip is from someone who was formerly in the adhesive coating industry for 35 years. The new strip works great. D. Forbes Itecgraphix, Inc.
