Position Summary

AirMark is expanding our smart, ambitious and knowledgeable Outside Sales Team. We are seeking talented sales professionals with inside sales experience and a proven track record of success in business-to-business sales. Successful candidates will possess exceptional 'people skills' and the ability to work with a wide range of customers and colleagues.

The outside sales rep is responsible for increasing sales and revenue through knowledge of the sign making and aircraft marking industries to potential and existing customers via telephone, email and in-person. As an AirMark Outside Sales Representative, we encourage you to approach your business from the customer's point of view, where you will strive to understand their needs and pain points; provide solutions to address those needs, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Specific Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Effectively increase revenue through a combination of prospecting for new sales opportunities and responding to inbound new account inquiries
  • Business development within sign, aviation, and industrial markets throughout the Pacific Northwest
  • Provide equipment and software demonstrations in person and remotely
  • Handling administrative tasks including entering data into CRM and invoicing orders
  • Working with customers to provide beneficial solutions to technical issues
  • Meet deadlines, establish an appropriate priority level of assigned tasks, and complete tasks efficiently
  • Answer questions about products, provide solutions and recommendations
  • Travel within WA, OR, ID and limited nationwide travel as needed
  • Exhibit at national trade shows
  • Outbound telephone prospecting and lead qualification
  • Outbound and inbound account management
  • Maintain and expand the database of leads & prospects for the organization
  • Identify decision makers amongst the targeted leads in order to initiate the sales process
  • Act proactively to create opportunities for new business
  • Emphasize service or product features and benefits, discuss credit terms, quote pricing
  • Train and inform new and existing customers on the use of AirMark’s web based Customer Portal

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Sign or Aviation industry experience
  • Effectively communicate professionally and effectively via phone and email
  • Must be highly self-motivated with a proven track record of success
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and true commitment to customers
  • Focus on quality, customer service, innovation, commitment to excellence
  • Possess excellent customer service skills, have a strong desire to win the sale
  • A background in graphics, computer aided design or signage
  • Ability to work hard and smart, never satisfied with the status quo
  • Goal-oriented and competitive in sales/marketing activities
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish a plus

Qualifications Needed:

  • Must have a proven track record of inside sales experience and ability to drive new business
  • Exceptional verbal and written professional communication skills
  • Excellent telephone sales personality skills
  • Excellent organization and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Highly energetic, motivated self-starter
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required
  • Salesforce.com experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS), preferred
  • 2-5 years business-to-business, telemarketing and inside sales experience required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Competitive Base Salary & Commission:

Starting base salary TBD per yr salary, plus a commission on accounts you bring on and manage based on sales. Huge commission earning potential of $40K+.
