Position Summary

AirMark is seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to handle all HR functions for the company including but not limited to: benefits administration, employee relations, policies & procedures, and recruiting.

Specific Responsibilities & Duties:

  • This is a hands-on role – must be comfortable handling all aspects of HR
  • You will have the flexibility to create your own schedule and prioritize and manage your projects
  • Review and improve current policies and procedures
  • Employee handbook revisions
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Involved with employee reviews, performance counseling and corrective actions
  • Propose and plan employee morale boosters such as company parties, lunches and events, as well as employee recognition
  • Maintain employee files
  • Coach and guide managers and supervisors on employee issues and company compliance and best practices
  • Manage and meet deadlines
  • Answer employee inquiries and requests
  • Unemployment, L&I, and 401(k) required filings
  • Keep educated on local, state & Federal employment law
  • Handle highly confidential information
  • Some payroll responsibilities
  • Special projects as assigned or self-assigned

Qualifications Needed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or relevant work experience
  • 2+ years of HR experience
  • Professional work ethic
  • A positive, “can do” attitude
  • Comfortable effectively and tactfully communicating with others – verbally, in person, and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail & organizational skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Comfortable presenting information to groups
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to successfully multi-task under deadline
  • Energetic, motivated self-starter
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
