Label system features
two system sizes
30-inch & 54-inch airmark label printer-cutters
Choose from the compact and affordable 30-inch AirMark Label Printer Cutter or the widest printer of its kind, the 54-inch AirMark Label Printer Cutter. Both models print on a wide variety of approved media and at variable widths. The 30-inch model prints on popular 24 and 30-inch width materials. The wide-format 54-inch model prints on 24, 30 and 54-inch wide media. Plus, both models tile images automatically. So you can print everything from the very small to the very large, and everything in between.
the ultimate in durability
Thermal transfer printing uses a unique heat and pressure process to permanently bond resin-based ribbons to the face of uncoated media. The resin ribbons are supplied on ribbons containing densely packed pigments suspended in a solid plastic carrier. The process results in images that are highly abrasion resistant compared to liquid-based inks. The high pigment density also provides long term UV and water resistance. Outdoor life is up to 5 years without UV lamination.
amazing cut accuracy
The on-board OptiTrac system uses a combination of printed tracking marks and a laser scanner that provides amazing accuracy. The result is cut accuracy that's so precise there's literally no need to add choke or bleed to your designs.
instantly ready to apply
Thermal transfer is not a liquid ink. So in addition to no mess, no fume printing, images are instantly dry and ready to be applied. That speeds production and eliminates the large areas need to dry typical inkjet-printed graphics.
complete software and supply
Both model include Summa's blazing fast ColorControl RIP + Cut software and a full set of print supplies, including premium 3M white vinyl and a full set of CMYK resin ribbons. It's enough to print over 360 square feet of process color images before spending another penny on supplies.
